Each church is a little different, so the information below will help you feel comfortable before your first visit.

FAQs
Our Worship Service begins at 10 am. We recommend to arrive 10 minutes early.
We have set aside visitor parking at our main entrance. Seniors and those who require accessible parking will also find designated spots reserved for them. Our parking lot fills quickly, so additional parking can be found on the west side of the church by Bates Place Neighbors. Street parking is also available.
By entering through the main doors, you will be greeted by current First Church members who would be glad to help out with any questions you may have. Straight ahead down the hall is where you can sign in your kids in children's ministry. Next, you will want to head up the main stairway to enter the Sanctuary for our Worship Service.
We welcome anything you feel comfortable worshipping in! We are not concerned with what you are wearing, we're very glad you decided to join us!
While no two Sundays are exactly alike, here are some things you can count on about worship at First Church. The Word of God centers our worship services. We seek his revelation! We blend contemporary and traditional songs led by our Praise Team. Our services typically are between 60 and 90 minutes long.
- On Sunday morning we have children's programs for ages 0 to 5th grade! We have a nursery (0-2.5 years old) and a Little Lambs room (toddlers 2.5-4 years old) in which children are cared for during the entirety of the worship service. Be sure to check them in just down the hall past the Welcome Desk. Children in preaschool-2nd grade begin in the worship service, and are dismissed part way through to continue worshipping in age appropriate ways in our Children's Worship program. Our Faith Explorers program is for children in 3rd-5th grades. They remain in the worship service longer and then are dismissed to engage in the Scripture passage of the day through prayer or inductive Bible study. If you prefer, all children are always welcome to join the entirety of our worship service. Parents of infants, we also have a cry room at the back of the sanctuary that allows you to remain part of the worship service while feeding a young infant.
- We have strong safe church policies in place to keep your children safe while they are at church. All children's program volunteers are required to complete safe church training.

The music is performed by First Church's Praise Team, a live band made up of our talented members here at First Church. There is a mix of contemporary and traditional songs.
After Worship, people gather downstairs in the Fellowship Hall located on the first floor (left of the main entrance) for coffee, juice, and fellowship.
